Multiple plot lines

The plot of the walking dead in the early seasons was relatively simple for viewers when Rick, Daryl, Glenn and all the other friends were together most of the time and there were several focal points of events parallel to the plot. Over time, more and more groups were added in different areas, and now in the eighth season there are six focal points: Alexandria, the Hilltop, Ocean Side, the Kingdom, the Sanctuary and the junkyard.

In order to manage a situation in which the series has a lot of characters and plot lines, it is possible to advance the characters and their plot lines (as in the games of the throne) in every chapter until they reach the advanced seasons and things begin to connect, but the walking dead chose to give us quite a few chapters focusing on an entire chapter In the events of a limited number of characters (see Morgan, Eugene, Sasha, Tara – all of them received full episodes devoted mostly to them) and as a result it caused us to lose concentration and quite a few times forget the sequence of events and events that happened to characters not focused in recent episodes.
