The dog blinks and squints
If the dog squints and looks at you with a focused look it is a sign that he is ready for his play time. However, if he blinks and squints too much, something may be bothering him in the eye, so if this continues for a long time, the veterinarian should be visited.
The ears stand erect or forward
The dog’s way of showing that he is curious and trying to test his reaction to something that has just taken place in his environment.
The ears drooping at the sides of the head
This is a sign that the dog is afraid. Sometimes you will notice that only one ear of the dog tends downwards and is usually the left ear. That’s how dogs react to people they do not know or who scare them.
Yawn
When your dog yawns it is a sign that he is nervous or irritable. Puppies do this often when they are surrounded by dogs larger and smaller than them. Of course, in some cases a yawn is also a sign of fatigue, or the dog saw you yawning and expressing solidarity with you.
The dog licks his face
Dogs lick their faces when they are tense, stressed, or in danger.
The dog is toothless but does not growl
A sign that your dog is protecting his territory. Dogs tend to do this often when they eat and someone approaches them.
The dog turns over and reveals his stomach
The dog signals to you that he trusts you and wants to please you. If you stroke your stomach when doing this position, it will understand that you are satisfied with its behavior.
